By creating an account or using Star Gaze you agree to these terms.
For guidance only
Star Gaze calculates Vedic (Jyotish) charts and says what the classical texts associate with them. It is offered for guidance, reflection and interest only. It is not a prediction of events and not a substitute for professional advice. Star Gaze makes no predictions about death, health, legal or financial outcomes, and nothing on it should be read as one. For any medical, legal, financial or psychological matter, consult a qualified professional. Decisions you make remain your own.
What Star Gaze gives you
Your birth chart, its divisional charts and its Vimshottari periods, calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris, and a chart card and technical sheet in which each reading names the classical verse it comes from. Calculations depend on the birth time and place you enter: a wrong time gives a wrong chart. We check the calculations carefully but cannot guarantee that every result is free of error.
Your account
- Enter your own birth data, or someone else's only with their permission.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or reach other people's accounts.
- You may delete your account at any time from your account page. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Your data
The astrologer who runs Star Gaze may review the birth data and charts saved in your account. What we collect and how to have it deleted is in the Privacy notice.
Availability
We aim to keep Star Gaze running, but it may be unavailable at times, and features may change. The service is provided as it is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it; using Star Gaze after a change means accepting the new terms.
